Honey Stinger locked in a multi-year deal with USA Cycling, meaning national team riders will fuel on their waffles and gels at major events. Not surprising — those waffles show up at more amateur events than I can count, which suggests they’re popular enough that USA Cycling wanted the same. Whether this changes anything for everyday cyclists is debatable. But if you’ve been using Honey Stinger products anyway, you’re now eating the same fuel as riders at that level, which I know some people find motivating.
